Sam’s Club, the membership-only retail chain under Walmart, said their internal reviews found no evidence of forced exclusivity in a Monday Chinese statement. The US supermarket chain was responding to an earlier accusation from Alibaba’s grocery arm Freshippo and Carrefour. The two grocery chains accused Sam’s Club over the weekend of forcing suppliers to be exclusive.
