Huawei has completed a transaction to sell its server division that produces x86 architecture servers, a Nov. 5 company information change showed. The owner of a Huawei subsidiary that runs the company’s x86 server business has been changed to a consortium based in Henan province, according to Chinese corporate information platform Tianyancha. The new major shareholder of the company, Henan Information Industry Investment Co. Ltd., is a subsidiary of Henan provincial government’s finance department.
