Tesla exported 40,666 China-made vehicles in October, according to the data released by the China Passenger Car Association on Monday. The US automaker also sold 13,725 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles in China. Tesla has turned its Shanghai plant into a vital export hub to meet demand from the global markets.
