Chinese wearable shipments are expected to reach 160 million units in 2022, representing an increase of 18.5% from 2021, IDC China reported Thursday. Earphones shipments rose to 78.98 million units in 2021, while smartwatch shipments hit 39.56 million units shipped last year, a 21.4% year-on-year increase. Shipments of tracker bands, however, recorded a decline of 26.3% in 2021.
