On Monday, Chinese electric vehicle maker Xpeng released its Q4 and full-year financial reports for 2021. The company’s revenue grew to RMB 21 billion ($3.3 million) in 2021, a yearly increase of 259.1%. Xpeng’s vehicle deliveries also increased by 263% to 98,155 in 2021. However, the company’s net loss grew by more than 77% in 2021, from RMB 2.7 billion to RMB 4.8 billion. He Xiaopeng, the Chairman and CEO of Xpeng, attributed its revenue growth to increasing sales of its newly released models and its business expansion to meet the rising demands in China’s EV market.
