Chinese gaming giant Tencent’s cloud business announced a partnership with Douyu-backed livestreaming platform Mildom to enhance its service’s operational efficiency and streamers’ experience on Monday. Tencent Cloud will provide tech to Mildom ranging from Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), including computing, network, and storage resources, to Platform as a Service (PaaS) like audio, video processing, and database services. Tencent Cloud will also offer tech to enable users to create virtual hosts on the livestreaming platform. Mildom is a popular livestreaming platform launched by Chinese livestreaming giant Douyu and a local partner in Japan in 2019.
