Chinese phone maker Meizu plans to enrich its product ecosystem by expanding into new categories of device, including AR glasses, watches, tablets, and smart home products from 2023 to 2025, a sales executive at the company revealed in a post on his Weibo account on Dec. 16. The phone maker will also partner with Geely’s auto brands on its in-car system Flyme Auto, according to the post. A representative of Meizu confirmed the plans to TechNode. Li Shufu, the founder and chairman of Chinese automaker Geely, founded a firm named Hubei Xingji Shidai Technology in 2021, focusing on the smartphone business.
