Battle royale melee game Naraka: Bladepoint will be free-to-play across all platforms when it launches on PlayStation 5 on July 14, NetEase’s 24 Entertainment Studio announced on Thursday. First launched for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store in August 2021, the game, steeped in martial arts, has attracted players globally. The first Chinese-developed competitive escape game, Naraka has hit a peak of 20 million players, ranking in the top 200 best-selling games. To celebrate the game’s second anniversary, buyers will be reimbursed with benefits, such as in-game currency and cosmetics. Additionally, NetEase plans to hold an AI fashion event, in which players can shape the development of in-game characters. [nadianshi, in Chinese]
