Xiaomi rejoins global top ten smartphones list in Q2 with its Redmi 13C taking eighth spot

In the second quarter, Xiaomi made a comeback to the global top ten best-selling smartphone list after being absent for two consecutive quarters dominated by Apple and Samsung, according to Counterpoint Research’s latest global monthly smartphone sales tracking report. Xiaomi was the only other brand on the list, with its budget-friendly mid-ranger Redmi 13C 4G smartphone taking the eighth spot. In the second quarter, the top ten best-selling smartphones were the iPhone 15 (4.1%), iPhone 15 Pro Max (3.7%), iPhone 15 Pro (3.1%), Samsung Galaxy A15 5G (2.0%), Samsung Galaxy A15 4G (1.8%), iPhone 14 (1.6%), Samsung Galaxy A55 (1.5%), Redmi 13C 4G (1.5%), Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (1.4%), and Samsung Galaxy A05 (1.4%).
