Rokid reportedly prepares Hong Kong IPO

Hangzhou-based smart glasses maker Rokid is preparing to file for a Hong Kong listing as early as the end of April, according to people familiar with the matter, though the plans have not been finalized. Rokid said on Wednesday that it is capable of pursuing an IPO.

The move comes as AI glasses draw growing interest from major tech companies and startups. Rokid founder Zhu Mingming said in November that cumulative sales of its AI glasses had exceeded 300,000 units, while Omdia data showed global AI glasses shipments rose 322% year-over-year to 8.7 million units in 2025.
