DeepSeek will introduce peak and off-peak pricing for its API from Aug. 17. Peak hours will run from 9 a.m. to noon and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Beijing time, while other hours will be classified as off-peak. Off-peak prices will be set at half the peak rates.
For deepseek-v4-flash, peak pricing will be RMB0.10 per million tokens for cache-hit input, RMB3 for cache-miss input and RMB9 for output. The corresponding off-peak prices will be RMB0.05, RMB1.5 and RMB4.5. For deepseek-v4-pro, peak prices will be RMB0.30, RMB9 and RMB27, compared with off-peak prices of RMB0.15, RMB4.5 and RMB13.5.
