At the 2026 HarmonyOS Ecosystem Conference in Shenzhen, Huawei rotating chairman Xu Zhijun said on Aug. 28 that native HarmonyOS apps had surpassed 100,000. More than 400,000 apps are now available on HarmonyOS phones, he said.
Devices running HarmonyOS 6 topped 80 million as of Aug. 20. Huawei expects the HarmonyOS ecosystem to pass 100 million users in the fourth quarter, a forward-looking target rather than a current user count. [IT Home, in Chinese]
