Huawei is reportedly preparing a new smartphone sub-brand called “Xingyao,” which could launch as early as November. The nova series is also said to be moving from a product line toward an independent sub-brand.
Huawei’s terminal business had not confirmed the plan by publication time. Customer service said it had no specific information and directed users to Huawei’s official channels.
