Xpeng Motors said Monday that it had delivered over 10,000 vehicles in October. It is the second time the company hit the milestone number in deliveries as it wrestled with a global chip shortage that has troubled the auto industry. The electric vehicle maker delivered 10,138 vehicles in October, a 233% year-on-year increase. Due to the ongoing chip shortage, the company reportedly began delivering its P5 sedans without millimeter-wave radar units last week, promising owners to install the components by March 2022.
