Chinese short video app Kuaishou once again adjusted its organizational structure on Tuesday, with the former head of product development Wang Jianwei replacing Liu Feng, who had served as head of the commercial department for less than three months. Yu Yue, leader of the community science section, will also now be in charge of the company’s main site product development. Both Wang and Yu will report to the company’s co-founder and CEO Cheng Yixiao. This is the third business restructuring and personnel adjustment in just two months at Kuaishou and comes after the Beijing-based company set up a new management committee in August. Since Cheng Yixiao became CEO on October 29 2021, Kuaishou has not only undergone at least four rounds of organizational reshuffling, but has also upgraded its local life services business into an independent division and enhanced the strategic position of its e-commerce business.
