On Monday, Huawei announced a partnership with energy companies Liva Energy, Masfen Energy, Mensis Energy, Yenelis, and Zes Solar, in its first Turkish cooperation deal in the field of energy storage systems. According to a joint protocol agreement signed at the Mobile World Congress 2023 in Barcelona, the Turkish companies will obtain 2 gigawatt hours (GWh) of energy storage systems from Huawei. RGS, Huawei’s business partner in the field of technology and product supply, will provide the requested products. Gavin Zhao, general manager of Huawei’s digital power business unit in Turkey, stated the importance of transitioning to clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy systems to meet the world’s growing need for eco-friendly energy.
