TikTok owner ByteDance is set to acquire approximately 1,480 square meters of office space in Hong Kong’s Central Business District, previously occupied by Swiss bank Julius Bear. According to the Financial Times, which cited multiple sources, ByteDance has confirmed the deal. The report states that several mainland Chinese companies have been occupying prime office space in the central area, taking over spaces previously vacated by foreign companies.
