The 2026 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition opened on Thursday, with organisers saying it is the world’s largest auto show by exhibition area. The event spans 380,000 square metres and features 1,451 vehicles, including 181 making their global debut and 71 concept cars. Held under the theme Driving the Future of Intelligence, the show highlights trends such as intelligent driving, electrification and connectivity, with displays of advanced driver-assistance systems, in-car software and integrated smart mobility solutions.
