Apple CEO Tim Cook posted on Weibo today, welcoming the POP MART team to visit Apple Park, Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California. He also shared a photo of himself with Apple’s incoming CEO John Ternus and POP MART founder Wang Ning during their meeting. This marks the second public interaction between Cook and POP MART in less than nine months. During the visit, Wang Ning presented Cook with the collectible figure LABUBU character ZIMOMO.
This is not the first time Cook has shown support for POP MART. Last October, during his China trip, Cook’s first stop was not an Apple Store or a supply chain partner, but the THE MONSTERS 10th Anniversary Exhibition at Shanghai’s Bund Source, where he visited the exhibition dedicated to POP MART’s popular IP.
