Top China Fund Manager Dies at 41: Securities Times

Cai Xiangyang, one of China’s best-known fund managers, has died suddenly at the age of 41, Securities Times reported.

The deputy general manager of China Asset Management had more than 15 years’ experience in the asset management and securities industry, managing nine public fund products and total funds of more than 47 billion yuan under management.

The China Return Fund managed by Cai provided a total return of 167.07% and an annualised return of 14.12% under his tenure of more than seven years.
