JD Logistics, the logistics arm of Chinese e-commerce giant JD, has become one of the first courier companies to reach an agreement with Douyin for access to the latter’s express delivery service Yinxuda, with plans to provide home delivery services for users of the ByteDance-owned short video app. Douyin set up the express delivery service with the aim of reducing returns and complaints caused by logistics issues affecting its e-commerce services.
