On September 19, Chinese e-commerce company Pinduoduo announced the launch of their 2022 overseas expansion project. The project will provide an integrated service for manufacturing businesses to move overseas, with an estimated value of more than RMB 10 billion ($1.4 billion). The first phase will include the creation of 100 overseas brands and the support of 10,000 manufacturing enterprises directly connected to overseas markets. Pinduoduo proposed specific support measures for manufacturing enterprises that wish to go global, including a preferential policy of long-term zero deposit and zero commission services.
