Major Apple assembler Foxconn has recorded Covid-19 cases at its biggest facility in mainland China in Zhengzhou, according to a report by the South China Morning Post. “For the small number of employees affected by the pandemic, Foxconn, in compliance with local epidemic prevention policies, is providing the necessary guarantees for livelihoods, including material supplies, psychological comfort, and responsive feedback,” the company said in a Wednesday statement. It added that production at the site, which mainly assembles iPhones for Apple, is still stable. Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan province in central China, reported 20 new Covid cases on Wednesday, according to Caixin. The city is partially under lockdown, according to the local government.
