Honor confirms August global launch of its first Robot Phone at WAIC 2026

At the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), Honor CEO Li Jian unveiled the company’s first Robot Phone, confirming it will launch globally in August with pre-orders now open across all sales channels. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform and features a 1.5K flat display with ultra-narrow, symmetrical bezels, alongside support for 120W wired fast charging. Its defining feature is a four-degree-of-freedom (4DoF) titanium-alloy robotic gimbal integrated into the top of the phone.

Honor says the robotic gimbal enables 360-degree subject tracking and AI-powered cinematic camera movements. For imaging, the Robot Phone packs a flagship triple-camera system comprising a 200MP 4D gimbal main camera, a telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. Honor has also partnered with ARRI, bringing professional-grade Log-C recording and LUT color grading to the device in a bid to deliver cinema-quality video capture with highly autonomous camera operation.
